
Tools to manage anxiety and worry
Anxiety, stress, and worry are all natural responses when trying to cope with a chronic health condition, whether our own or that of a loved one. It is important that we acknowledge and accept these difficult thoughts and emotions, and by doing so, we can learn ways to cope and heal.
The pamphlet below lists a number of great ways that you can regain control over your anxiety, along with prioritizing your well-being through self-care strategies. Remember, no two people are alike so some strategies listed below may be more useful to you than to others. Also, practice makes perfect! It is important to practice these techniques regularly to get better at using them to maintain good mental health.
