Psychonephrology Team is also taking a winter break
As the year draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your posts and comments, which speak to the growing community engaged with this topic.
We have tried to touch various aspects of coping with kidney disease, dealing not only with the physical effects but with the psychosocial aspects as well. Experts from various fields shared their experiences and thoughts about mindfulness, tackling depression, how technology has impacted the health care arena. Some readers also contributed to Sifted Sand by sharing their reviews of books that they found personally meaningful.
Our research on Quality of Life Progression during Dialysis Initiation was selected for a poster presentation at the annual meeting of the American Society of Nephrology.
We are very thankful for the support we have received from you. With the strength and support of the psychonephrology community behind us, we know the coming year holds great promise.
